Re: Cheapest Smartwatch for woo?

Forerunner 245 has been my jam for years now. I love the thing.

Re: Pocket board building

Re: Going GONG anyone?

lots of locals have everything gong makes. I've not heard of any issues.
I myself have a 5m strutless kite and enough to make four separate hydrofoils.
But I've seen wing's,kites, inflatable boards, and tons of foils.

I'm curious what controversies youve heard in general regarding Gongs gear

Agreed, try to straighten the lower half of the knot and that should hopefully solve your issue.

Re: Gong foils: discussion

Hello friends. I am wondering if a Fluid LS would be a good step up from a Curve L (Rise M previous to that. I also have a Curve LT). Not looking for anything performance wise in particular. Typical "more glide, more speed" really, just the next progressive step... If It helps I'm 250lbs, my quiver ...

Re: Gong foils: discussion

I ordered a new carbon foil from Gong on July 21st. The mast arrived (very quickly to Canada) on the 25th. For some reason the front wing & stabilizer were sent separately and have still not arrived. It's not at all clear where this second package is and there doesn't seem to be any way to contact ...

Re: Harness preference for hydrofoiling:

GJibb, what does that setup do for you? One thing it does, and one of the reasons I am looking to do something similar, is it allows you to swap your bar between a harness with a slider bar and one with a "hook" without having to put the donkey dick back on the bar. I have a slider spreader and a r...

Re: Harness preference for hydrofoiling:

GJibb, what does that setup do for you? A traditional rope slider can transfer the pull of the kite from one side of the rider's body to the other. So, for example, if you're riding toeside with a rope slider, you feel the pull of the kite on your upwind hip. Your setup doesn't really do that. It s...

Re: Harness preference for hydrofoiling:

Dakine vega seat and nitrous shorts without hook. I’d like to copy this. Any link or instruction on how to tie on the ring. I just grabbed some 1/8” dyneema that seems like the right diameter. I used two pigtails. Hitched the ring onto the first and hitched the second onto the spreader bar. Then ju...
