Re: Advice for kiter considering changing to 5th Line Rebel

I fly 6,7,9,12,&14 Rebels and when learning I have had the kite invert several times and wrap the 5th line. It is most likely to happen when flying in light wind with holes/lulls. The kite falls from the sky with lots of slack and then rolls backwards on the water forcing the fifth line to wrap the ...

Re: Vietnam

I leave for Mui Ne in a few days and I have been trying to find evidence of landboarding at the dunes. Obviously not the main wind attraction but are people dune kiting here? Phu Quy sounds like my paradise :thumb:

Re: WaterMan Fitness (Intro)

I have been appreciating this thread over the past week and after lots of trial I'm doing 5 pistol squats each side x4 sets. I've also incorporated the bosu ball (large and small) squats. 15 reps on the small ball and I seem to fall off the larger one after about 5-6 reps. Thanks guys for all the gr...

Re: Board Choices for Mui Ne, Vietnam

I would think smaller board easier for travel and learning air tricks cause you gonna be there for 2 months ! plenty of winds & times to learn, you got it made bro, while you're there try to adventure out to Phu Qui island for few weeks for stronger wind, uncrowded beach and slow pace paradise, don'...

Re: F-one Board Delamination Issue - Warranty Denied... WTF?

I found this post curiously researching F-1 reviews. I had expeced to find an uber performance quality, customer support, and current technology construction rave reviews for the prices they ask. Enough research for me. Did they deny the Warranty based on photos alone or did they see the board? Eith...

Re: Knee injuries

Took my ACL out motocross riding October 2009. I eventually got tired of waiting for a "free" MRI scan from Canadian healthcare so I paid for one. I lost about 4 months of recovery due to this. Finally had my surgery through Healthcare Canada "free" October 2010. I was back on a twintip in 6 months ...
