he told me upwind angle was quite poor but the downwind speed was insane

Having done a back-to-back comparison, a tri set up is so much nicer, far easier to use, more comfortable, you can actually gybe. Four fins feels extremely locked in and there seems (for me anyway) less ability to trim the board with weight placement. In summary, couldn't agree more with the commen...
