Re: Ben Wilson leaves Slingshot

Apparently he will still be riding for SS Australia. No doubt about his influence on the sport.

Re: IKA Course Racing World Championships - Final Results

Looks like they all now have 4 equal sized fins ? The 2 back ones are vertical and the 2 front ones slightly angled and further apart. The stance on all boards is huge !

Re: Mutiny Kites first Pitcures released of New F- Series

I find it strange that the ex Flexifoil lads would choose a design so close to the Flexifoil Strike from 2004/5, just the looks of it remind me a lot of that. http://www.walkertelecoms.com/shizzle/Pix/pastkites/IMG_0099.jpg It was a good looking kite at the time. Maybe they are going retro. Best of...

Re: New Brand: Epic Kites

So to summarise, Windmaker what you are saying is: (and I quote) " Epic kites are great for the price " and " Epic quality is great and certainly more than what we need " In fact you are suggesting that you would not pay a premium for other brands that you consider to have superior quality as you t...

Re: New Brand: Epic Kites

Sure the kites are very good, just like Eclipse were but the quality is better, not the best, certainly good enough, but not on par with some other brands . In fact they are produced in the same factory as Blade (same bar) and Best (same stiching) so no worries there but saying the quality is "amaz...

Re: New Brand: Epic Kites

Don't know if you can tell, but there really aren't a whole lot of things wrong with these kites. The detail put into the products is unbelievable. Even the little pump leash loop on the kite is genious!! I think the number of posts is the best evidence that these kites are some of the best on the ...

:thumb: Surf or kitesurf , it is your choice. What I meant is that In this video they are kitesurfing and un-hooking with off shore wind while going down a wave is impossible.

Re: Manera - Waveriding to the next level

cinematography was top notch, so was that location. but what is with ever kitesurfers obsession with just hacking and destroying lips of waves instead of trying aerial stuff and off the lip things. also i however talented these guys are, they still look whack riding hooked in and hanging off the ba...

Re: Fast turning kites

Zenwind, thanks for your input, certainly very interesting and believe adding diagonal lines could be one way of controling the turning speed of a kite. I was actually thinking of modifying the balance of the bridle. All things being equal how do you think bridle A will affect kiite behavour compare...
