Re: hardshell vs softshell waist harness old guy comfort level

They should really be called WASTE harnesses, lol....hard shell, soft shell, this strap, that strap, they will never invent a Waste harness that can match the comfort and holding power of a seat. And all these people who claim seats are so restrictive, I say BS. You are either wearing it too small ...

Re: hardshell vs softshell waist harness old guy comfort level

I was blown away by the comfort and lightness of the Halo. Riding with the slider, It felt like I was not really wearing a harness and I like the idea that I will never have to buy another harness again as each and every part of it is easily replaceable. Thanks a lot for this feed back. Do you thin...

I am also considéring changing my harness and this new Manera is intriguing ! looks pretty darn cool,, but the price tag for an experiment is not in my comfort level,, will wait for real world re...

Re: F-one mirage 800 for winging ?

I weigh 66kg and have used extensively a Mirage 1000 for kitefoiling and wingfoiling. Mirage 800 should not be a problem with Wingfoiling. It all depends on your weight and technical ability. I am now riding Phantoms S 740/S 840 and S 940 and can say that the Mirage 1000 has slightly more lift than ...

Re: New F One Strike V2

Unlike most brands that are trying to make their wings as rigid as possible, glad to see that they are actually implementing the windsurfing concept which allows the sail to flex in the tips and spill wing in the gusts. More range and control!

Re: Cops arrest short tacker

I'm still not sure why it's a problem...? Here the problem is people getting right in up your ass, and refusing to tack... so you get pushed right into shore or breakwater along the river mouth, or have to just come to a complete stop. Really sucks when the wind has dropped and you're struggling to...

Re: Cops arrest short tacker

I only ride surfstyle in waves and know everything about short tackers but can't understand how you can short tack on flat water as there is no reference point (the waves) ?
