I have used a 14 Sonic for more than a year, and once you figure this kite out you will spend most of your time kiting alone, as I do. That is spot on 51... as much as I don't bother much with light wind sessions these days unless I am testing kit... I hear exactly the same " I was the only one goi...

I'm sorry if it stops you getting your next kiteforum cop badge :thumb: but I didn't say anything about the 'title' of the thread but simply the context he'd made in his post... ie: After many tests we can say the SONIC 17m is the best big SLE on the market: Regardless.... I give . that much of a to...

Always funny how foil fans never cease to come out and get on the case at the slightest hint of any 'light wind' thread ... like they have some inbuilt 'light wind discussion' radar  I'm a bit lost on this thread to be honest, what with all the different kites touted and one liners etc. But as...

on the 8m GK. I had the same problem of really heavy bar pressure as compared to 11M (I have both). Same problem of kite flying over head. Managed to change that by using the first knot (nearer to rider) and the further extended knot in the briddle extension. However just curios about the bar press...

So Camera Bloke... I'm not being funny fella, but we can see that you are relatively new to the forum and all you post about is how great various Skywalker boards are and how great Eclipse kites are ... there is something a Dimitri theme there and you make it a little obvious. Its all good... crack ...

dude... the Trix does exactly what it is supposed to do. Its a very different kite to the Thruster. The Trix has far less bridle and LE support and is far more 'C' shaped.... and guess what... it behaves far more like a mid AR 'c' kite only it has the 100% de-power on tap... which, you are correct, ...

you can rig a back line OS system onto a Sonic and it will work just like on a Waroo... its not as efficient or as safe as a front line system though, which is why GK don't slap a back line OS on a a selling point. Its easy enough to rig up. The other option of course is to just get the 07 freestyle...

No problem... you can fly the 06 Sonic on an 06 waroo bar. There is plenty of de-power range for the Sonic on it + you have the by-pass leash if you really need the extra kill switch.

Like you say... you may just have to make some adjustments with pigtails or leaders to get the trim right.

Hi Daesoo, Sorry I don't have a phot handy right now but... If you only have one cable tie per valve (not 2)... and you don't know what I mean by 'connector' ... and you have experienced a tube come out of a valve on kite impact... ... then you 100% do not have the newer, updated system. You should ...

One bad thing I've experienced with the onepump is that sometime the hose/tube from the LE to the struts somtimes popps out if u crash the kite, wich u usually do when u learn new unhook tircks. The bad side of the onepump. For sure this was a possible issue on the first few kites but has been sorted...
