Re: Liquid Force fun foil

I had a great first sesh on this board at our cable park. So much fun to ride and can't wait to try it with a kite.

We also just got a bunch in for sale in the Florida Keys if anyone is looking for one. We may start useing it for teaching at the cable too.

Re: Need Trip suggestions for daughters 16 BD

If you have any thoughts of the Keys, another option would be a sailing charter through the Keys with a captain that kites and can offer an instructor if necessary. Taking you to some awesome spots to ride far away from anyone. Keys Kite Charters www.keyskitecharters.com (305)509-2500 Noel www.other...

Re: Light wind board advice

LTD, Any way you could pm me a list of those used Doors as I have many people interested in them and may be able to help you out. We can never keep them in stock and have sold them for years. As for the Mako, I don't think anyone is saying it is a light wind board. But it is probably the best chop m...

Re: Kitesurf Key West ThanksGiving

Hey! I work with a shop in the upper keys, Otherside Boardsports. If you are in Key West then the best thing for a N wind is by boat. The only other spot is thru local knowledge and i'm not going there. Spanish Key also known as "The Horseshoe" is a super sketchy spot to launch and land but good rid...

Re: Chicken Loop Bye Bye?

Two examples of devices contained inside a control bar are: (1) the sheet-able 'pulley bar' invented by Billy Parker, and (2) a 'gust-buster' device that I created. Here is a link to a thread describing the "gust-busting" elastic recoil device. I can't find a good link to the Billy Parker pulley ba...

Re: Seaside- Point Pleasant Area kiting

Nothing in Pt. Pleasant until after the guards leave and the area is safe. Too many people. Drive south to 25th st. in Seaside Park. Bayside any time and ocean side after the guards leave and it is safe. Bayside has a parking lot for kiters and windsurfers just before Island Beach State Park. Other ...

Re: Anybody out in Fl, keys today 12/4 ???

Most will be at Curry Hammock SP (Marathon) and Annes Beach. (Islamorada) Wind may turn back toward NE and then Whale Harbor will be the only ridable spot.

Re: Introducing the Hoff - a transparent acrylic board

Nice board! I have a similar board made from Lexan. (I think) It is heavy but floats. Kind of heavy too. I will try to post a pic of it. You really can't see much as your riding because there is always a little air under the board. Sits in the corner as a talking piece more than a riding piece.
