Hi Guys, Just wondered if you had noticed some additions on the North website (listed under 'Downloads'). They have a useful video on setting up and features of the Scepter bar so you can check your set up. Thought it might be useful. It does state some obvious things for us guys who've been kiting ...

You are talking fractions of seconds here, and having used both the Wichard and Stage 2 Release there is nothing in it. The only thing I have found is that sometimes the Wichard might need a couple of pulls before it releases depending on the angle you are pulling the release, whereas the Stage 2 de...

You don't really need to as it's always easy to find, plus it's not really possible or required with this system. The orange ball doesn't dangle around anyway as it is attached to the strong elastic right at the end of the pin, so it's always where you need/expect it to be. I find this system a 'no ...

I bought this system after using the old version (2002) and had to use it under pressure the other day. The pin will release with little force (you could pull it with your little finger) and I must also point out that it will not release by accident. If you buy one you will find it to be everything ...

I've had similar problems but rest assured it isn't any problem with the kite. The caracteristics are a bit different with the Toro2. Try a search on this forum for 'Toro' and you will see some other peoples advice, but essentially it seems that on the front pigtails on the kite (de-power setting) i...

Thanks guys. I'm still thinking I should go for a 10m, as I'm frequently overpowered and stuggling with my Rhino1 12m, but maybe the Toro2 12m would be more forgiving??! Hopefully off to Oz and New Zealand, thinking about going via South Africa for a taster session. Just got to sell the house and ca...

Thanks. No, I'm around 85kg, (and will be using a Drake 147) so maybe the 12 and 16 would be a good idea. Best way to know is to spend some money I suppose!!

Thanks again.
