Yes, that's the bar. They call it 'Rodeo' I think! I understand the concept you are suggesting. Seeing as this kite can be quite powerful, I need to depower it as much as possible.
I'll look into getting a longer depower strap. Any ideas who makes them?
Hi guys, Just bought a North Rhino 12m, instead of the Aero that I was going to buy. I've read a few reviews that mention it can't be depowered as much as kites with the centre rope and strap arrangement (as it only has a strap adjustment). Has anyone made such a modification, and what have they fou...
Good point...ummm, it's not for my kite really!!! ;o)
Yeah, I know you can do that and there are loads around, but they are very low quality. I meant to say that I need a decent quality one that wouldn't distort if stretched to say 60cm wide.
Hi Guys, I want to add something to identify my kite from others (good if stolen etc). I'm looking for a good Naish logo so I can create a lightweight transfer/sticker to go down the side of the kite (which won't affect the performance). Does anyone have this or know where I could find it? An illust...
So, one more question then. When Naish state that a kite can be used between say 10 and 25 knots, Would the 10 be powered-up and the 25 be de-powered? That would make sense right?
Thanks for the reply. I don't have a wind meter, but I'll probably go for the bigger size...more fun. Another question then...I 'm probably being thick, but when a 4 line kite is 'de-powered', that just usually means less power, not no power, right? Unless I've got it all wrong, it seems that I migh...
Hi guys, I'm pretty much decided on an Aero after taking in a lot of info on the many new kites out there this year. I need your advice on sizing. I'm 5'11" (approx 180cm), 76kg and have been using a 2-line Wipika Classic 6.5m kite until now. Need a good 4 line to get better with and that I won't ou...
Thanks matey. (by the way, you might want to change the date on your PC...it made this thread jump back by 5 months!!!) Just realised though that I will be permanently shackled onto my kite leash, and I imagine there are times when this might not be such a good idea. Has anyone got any tips for adap...
