You can use okoume. It's accessable in Europe.

I was wondering why nobody uses plywood to get additional strenght?

Kitesurfing near Mainau island

Hi! I'm going to a wedding to Mainau island in Bodensee in the end of september. I would like to kitesurf there. Since there are a lot of restictions at spots around Mainau, I was wondering, how is with kiting at Mainau. Is it allowed. There seems to be a lot of shallow water. If anyone has any info...

Hi! I think that 12 mm plyboard would be a litle bit to rigid, regarding the cut back. At least try to use thinner ply on the top. And I would suggest a smaller board for your weight, although it depends on the shape, but if you are doing a normal twin tip board I would suggest about 5 cm smaller bo...
