Re: Best time to visit US west coast for kitesurfing

Summer is your best bet

Start in long beach, Belmont shores

Then, Nicholas canyon,

Ventura

Waddell creek

San Fran, then hop over to Sherman island, Sherman is great for camping and kiting

Then you gotta do hood river. You are done. Make it 2 weeks minimum.

Good trails! Max

Laparoscopic gallbladder surgery yesterday! Unexpected!

So much for core exercises. Recovery 4 to 6 weeks, I leave in 5weeks.

And I go to Bahia Salinas An hour NW of Liberia airport, for person that asked.

At least the attack didn't happen there, haha.

Re: Getting in shape for kite trip. Costa Rica

Hey sniper. Interesting Q. I would classify as strong and gusty, but less gusty than and or similar to Maui So more consistent on a 9M day than a 7m day A 5 M day, well bound to be an ass kicker! But you only get one of those every 10 days and it's usually not all day long Hope that helps. But it's ...

Re: Advice from anyone who has ridden Blade Triggers

I am w Matt 12 and 9 is a sweet combo, but I would consider where you are to spend most of your time, if winds are mostly on upper end of its wind range, then 8. But if you want the best compliment for most wind ranges. Then 12. 9 combo

Good luck, max

Re: New 2015 naish pivot?

Thanks guys. I ordered the 9, from 12 to 9 should be good.

My next trip is Costa Rica and I get along plenty on my 9 Park. So Pivot should be sweet!

Taut I tried the Monarch in Maui. Sweet board. Let me know what you thinks once you log some time on it.

Thanks, Max

Re: New 2015 naish pivot?

Advice requested. Trying to decide between a 10M Pivot and 9M My parks are 12 and 9, bought a 12m pivot and earlier commented on bar pressure, but in Maui I rented a 10 M and learned how much de powering can affect bar pressure. Pivot seems lot more responsive to depower than I've experienced before...
