Re: Pansh Kestrel, new high performance kite

(I really don't like to talk about myself... quick answers: I started in 1999 in Fance I initially wanted to launch a brand in 2006 with a friend, we've done lots of prototypes and testings in wind tunnels, we've tryed many alternative kite concepts that bring lots of knowledge. And we had to code ...

Re: Is this repairable ?

Based on what you can see and the comments from the seller, the damage looks to be small! I say small, If you could put a % of damage as compared to the remaining "undamaged" part of the kite, we must be talking of a small percentage. (The kite surely cannont be considered a "write off") You could p...

Re: Kiteskim? wakeskate? wakesurf?

Excellent Topic! :D I can thoroughly recommend the Zap ACE 54” Skimboard and my recent purchase the Sandfish 45”Walnut Woody from DB Skimboards! They may not be specifically designed for kitesurfing, but work perfectly well for me. Obviously strapless and with no fins which I find makes no differenc...

Re: Flexifoil blade 10.5 cc xover

I’ve been trying to remember how the CC X Over actually worked and if memory serves it was something like this. A line from the left hand side of the main bridle crossed over to the “right hand side” of the canopy via a pulley that was attached to one of the bridle tabs. Not sure which row it was! ...

Re: Flexifoil blade 10.5 cc xover

Hi. Have you a picture, lengths etc of the xover mod. Need to fit one to my 10.5. Sorry I haven’t, having sold it many years ago. However, Flexifoil did produce a Crossover kit themselves which I fitted to my B2 (7.8m). If you look at page 24 in the link it details how to install it but does not pr...

Re: Flexifoil blade 10.5 cc xover

Hello - I'm not sure you will find the specification of the X - Over on the net but it did work well. I had the B3 10.5m fitted with CC X-Over kit which certainly helped with speeding up the turns, however for me the B3 8.5m and the 6.6m being my preferred kites which turned ok without the need for ...

Re: Fins - game changer?

all fins create drag. The smaller the fins the less the drag the faster you go. In butter flat water there's zero reason to ever use fins. The purpose of fins is that they give you grip even when conditions aren't perfect. I usually ride in chop, so the fins are helpful, but if you like going fast,...
