Re: Ozone Chrono vs Ozone R1 differences for freeride?

I have both Chrono V1’s and the R1 V1 (15m) and haven't noticed that much difference between them in terms of flying characteristics. The R1 has had far more use this year as compared with 18m Chrono and is fast becoming my favourite kite. In terms of bridle maintenance, other than replacing the pul...

Re: Peter Lynn Nova

It's a shame PLKB doesn't produce a 15m Nova as i would have seriously considered buying one to compliment my 10m Nova.
The next size up from the 10m is the 12m and would suggest the overlap would be too much!

Re: Ozone R1v3 persistent frontal collapse

Looking at the video again (Lost count how many times i have watched it) :-) It has just occurred to me that the front lines "appear" to have twisted up thus making the front lines shorter as compared with the back lines. My setup looks nothing like that with each "front line" being separated from ...

Re: Ozone R1v3 persistent frontal collapse

Thanks everybody for interesting info. To me, it seems these super low drag flat kites can not have a lot of spanwise tension in the LE, which presumably makes them easier to luff into an inversion. Has anybody got any experience with, or thoughts regarding, tuning the arc or tips to add a little m...

Re: UK wind this year....

Here in the SE I’m fortunate to have access to 2 beaches that are 20 mins drive apart that face different directions and as such cover a wide range of wind directions, except when its NW which is off shore at both venues. However, as a weekend kitesurfer there are times when the wind is perfect durin...

Re: Peter Lynn Nova

No frontstalling with the shortening? Tested yesterday with the Z bridle mod. (the other perfect neutral) No frontstalling no colapsing and improved lowend. Foiling in 8knots easily Going to give that a try myself! Currently both front and back lines are of equal length and have the option to conne...

Re: Ozone R1v3 persistent frontal collapse

Hello Seems a little odd if the kite setup as in the bridles, speed system with the lines all being correct and with there being no indication of damage to the canopy! I trust that you’re not sheeting out “aggressively” and have flown high AR kites before? A tad difficult to say what’s going on real...

Re: Kite Skimboard - worth it?

I have always favoured lighter winds but have been going out in higher winds of late having purchased a kite for such conditions. However, having recently been out in 20mph plus winds I have found myself having to edge far more than I’m use to and feeling some what over powered/uncomfortable as it w...
