Hi everyone - we just started an interview series called the REAL Pro series and Youri Zoon was up first to talk about freestyle kite gear. We spoke to him about the gear he rides, choosing c-kites over hybrids and riding in boots. Check it out... http://www.realwatersports.com/news/real-pro-series-...

Re: Lib Tech Waterboards

Hey guys - have been testing these boards like crazy and did a full riding review. These boards are awesome for kiteboarding because they are SO light! I bashed the rails of the board pretty hard against my spreader bar in the video review and it didn't seem to matter! http://www.realwatersports.com...

Re: How to choose your first kiteboard

Yeah, I may have jumped the gun asking for more detail about things like rocker. Another way to approach this (again, noob here just throwing out examples) is to say "for your first board, don't sweat the rocker or flex; just get a board that is the right size for your weight and has X and Y other ...

Re: How to choose your first kiteboard

Great input everyone - thanks. It sounds like the info that beginners are hungry for is a good explanation of all the tech terms used by the manufacturers AND a list of No-Nos! "timothymcmackin" - here are a couple of no-nos for you: - try to avoid getting a board that is too small (most beginners s...

Re: wakestyle or regular kiteboard?

It depends what you want from board. No board is perfect for everything. You need to understand how much wakestyle you need. But since you prefer pads over boots I would recommend the same as Zik46 - go for aboards X-series instead of W. Therefore you will get some wakestyle yet still be able to go...

Re: Naish draft vid.... bullshit.

I said I won't post anymore on this topic, but it's for your security, always check your bridle man ! ... your left front bridle was tangled : Tautologies, the big difference is in the...
