Hi there!
This is a Post for Tall & medium to high weight people.I'm 1,92 m tall and 83 kg. after 4 years kiting i find that anything less than 132*40 on TT works for me as an allround board. I'm currently using an stance "distance from footstraps inside screws" in my custom board of 40 cm. I know big people using 42 cm & more.
Very interested in your opinions, what are you using & what works for you!!!

Agree on that a custom board will fit you as any other if you are able to tell your preferences & riding style to the shaper.Only want to hear, what are you people riding outhere!!

You are saying anything smaller than 130x40 works for all around for you?
Right now my all around is a 145x46 production, 46cm stance.
I really love the wide stance on this board

I am 6 foot 4in and about 180pounds
I ride a 137 by 43cm Litewave Steath, wide duck stance and I love wake style! I get sooo much pop from the Steath but its not great in chop.
I would like to try the 130 Steath but I have a feeling it would just be to skitish being that short.
I have found that with my hight landing real "hot" on short boards under 135ish is like going down a huge hill on a skate board with very loose trucks.
I still have alot more boards to try.
Just what I have found so far...

Just the opossite,my actual board is 40 widht.Ride with it in higher winds too.Find anything smaller than 40 doesn't work for me.Main question is if your personal height has some influence in how a board performs as weight do.

110kg (240lb), 186cm (6'2"), I have a 134*41 and 130*41. I don't want to go shorter than 130 after riding that one. Stance as is from manufacture.

Try putting on a real tall hat someday and see if it affects your board size. Bout the only thing being tall might influence is the amount of wind resistance your body presents. Minimal at best. Weight is all unless your so tall your feet can't fit on the board.
What ever happened to our resident engineer, Mr. Spork?

Although what you say is true, you're forgetting stance width. Leg's wider apart will lower the center of gravity and it also effects the ability to hold an edge and pop.
