Slingshot RPM Windrange

Postby tswierkocki » Thu Apr 29, 2010 2:01 pm

Can someone tell what the which size RPM would replace a 9M Waroo to get the same lowend? Will the 8M do it or is the 10M a better choice?

Ive got the the 6,10 and 12m. The 10 is exactly like the 12, very sick kites, great for unhooked. The 6 is way fast, so i dont know if the 8 is gonna be like the 10 or the 6. I would definitely recommend the 10 as you can top it out till 30 kts easy, depending how big you are... I you compare the middle strut on the 10 to the 12, youll see its a bit fatter and tapered. i think this gives drag to keep the kite acting like the 12

Ah ha...see now your talking......I needed 13 & 9 RPM's this year but not available, so I had to keep the 13 REV2 for light wind and then I got a 10 RPM but then realised I needed an 8m aswell which was just too much money in the end.
One of the most common complaints I heard was the size choice so glad you are addressing that issue in 2011 :thumb: :thumb:
By the way....IMO, no one want's a 14m with a 10 foot bar either!!!....you only need a 13 that will fly on the 20" bar.
