You may also want to consider Liquid Force's Envy.

Wainman Hawaii Rabbits....going on three years without any major changes. Must be doing something right.

I can comment on some deltas.

Naish Charger. Not a lot of talk about it, so I would steer away from a kite like that.

Nobile. I really don't like their quality. The materials they use can break under normal circumstances.

The Best Kahoona V2 is a good kite. There is nothing wrong with it. However it lacks the "great" factor. Nothing stands out about it in performance. Just a solid kite all around.

The Liquid Force Envy is a lot better. Still a solid kite but has a high performance edge on the Kahoona. But the bar pressure is crazy light (the lightest ive tested/used) and I wouldn't buy it because of that. I found myself watching the kite like I did when I learned how to kite.

The Epic Renegade has that performance edge. Has the good delta characteristics but still performs great without sacrifice. Only thing I might have against this kite is the bar pressure is in the medium range. But this is the best thing for a beginner. You want to be able to feel the kite. I am partial to Epic as I own some Screamers (no Renegades) but I am just trying to spread the same excitement I get from people who own/try the Renegade.

I would really like to the try the Core Gt. Actually the Core Gts caught my eye. They look promising but I have only seen one person riding a Core once.

If I were gonna go delta I would go with the F1

They brought it to market and have refined it for four seasons. Every one else has followed.

F1 make pretty sweet gear, bar included.

The Wainmans are kinda nice looking too and you gotta put some faith in a guy like Lou insisting that his kit is tight.

But go with the original. Might have to get a second mortgage to cover it, but its cheaper than a porsche.
