Hi,
I am looking for a board to have fun with in small to medium surf and was looking at the 5.6 skillet. Has anyone tried it yet? if so what are your thoughts?
Cheers

Tried it once strapless this winter.
Very nice allround freestyle wave board for small to medium condition.
Felt it was a bit small for my size (Tall and 82 kgs)
Some mate complained about the flat deck (less comfortable than a slightly dome deck), but not me... This board is like a big size skim with trifin.
So, depends on your weight/size. I would definitely recommend this board for a smaller guy

Paul,
Most who know me would not question my objectivity, but I am a team rider so my only recommendation is to demo one!
I havent yet met someone who was disappointed with it!

I'm 85kg, its my light wind/small surf that compliments my resin 8 6'1'' when the wind/waves are a bit more solid.
Very good in chop too.

Hi.
It could well be as this is my home base.
I am constantly helping out visitors here as I have a board shape shop, fix kites, a kiteschool, a few boats on the water, and lots of goodwill.
Man we havn't had any wind in a long time and I don't know if I still know how to kite.
Hope you have had more joy in your area.
Nico
