I wonder what the wind is like in spring time on Oahu, especially Mokes, since I will be there for waves (strapless) ...I have heard Mokes works best in summer thermal conditions, how consistent is
spring ? Average wind speed? 50 % of month or more?
How is Mokes in comparsion to Maui at this time of the year? Thanks!

Spring can be a touch and go. No promise on Oahu. Can be windy. Can be huge waves, but no guarantee. Maui is usually more solid but this last spring was horrible as far as I can remember for both Maui and Oahu with long dry spells of no wind.
Oh well. Here's to hoping next spring is better.

This past March was really good at Mokus. It has actually been good since then. We didn't have any wind from Nov-end of Feb, maybe 2 days here and there. Waves can still be too big for Mokus in March...but not everyday
