Pretty much all bars with below the bar trim and those with a cleat above the bar that can be slid up or down to your preference will be able to give as much bar throw as you have arm length.

Not a lot of brands still going with the pull pull strap system any more. Best have stuck with it, airush, and a few others, but most have either a cleat that can be moved or below the bar trim with a stopper ball.

So almost anything other than Cabrinha (they have their own proprietary set up), Best, or Airush.

I used to have the predecessor to this bar. More throw than you can use.

no contest ocean rodeo has to have the most throw, other bars have a lot of throw at 4 feet, which is further than you can easily reach the ocean rodeo has 10 feet of throw you will be reeling that one in like a fishing lure after you drop the bar.

I would only use it on a pulley bridled kite like a cab best epic or north because it relies on mini-5th line safety. Nice bar.

Really 10 feet! how would that work? or maybe a better question is why?

How does this benefit the rider? obviously it must do or they would not have made it that way.

Edt would love to know the answer this has really peaked my interest.

Thanks

Paul

They make three models of bar but the one in question, the freeride model does have about ten feet before the pulley that doubles back the depower line back down to the below bar depower cleat. There is a movable stopper that is meant to keep the bar within reach. The leash goes to the end of the depower line opposite the below the bar trim so the depower line itself acts as a mini fifth line without the need for a third line running through the bar. Makes for a very clean and simple set up in front of you with the only draw back that if you let your depower line wear to the point that it snaps..... you lose the kite. So, as long as you stay on top of depower line wear.... its a very sweet bar with unlimited bar throw to wherever you put the stopper.

yup what starsky said the depower chicken line is what would be the redline in best or ids in cabrinha, makes the bar cleaner because you dont run a separate line for the QR1
