Friday nite a Lithuanian kiter was shot and killed during home robbery in Paracuru. He had been Paracuru for over a month , staying with friends. The nite of the robbery he stayed home alone with illness. Kiters being robbed is a common occurence here, but this has got the local community shook up. Things like this can happen anywhere. Be careful when on holiday. RIP

sorry to hear this, my condolences to family and friends!
First time I hear from a robbery with someone shot in this area (kiting areas).
This is bad.
Safest places to stay are apartments, hotels and pousadas. Single houses always have a risk...
RIP

I mean home invasion/murder can happen anywhere in the world, even Joensuu Finland. Alot of kiters come here with only kiting/party in mind. Be aware of your surroundings at night. This was a very sad and unusual case. Violence against tourists is rare here, but crime/robbery is common.

That really sucks. Sadly there are lowlifes everywhere. Its amazing the complete disregard these duech bags have for human life. Here in the states we have a new thing happening called The Knock Out Game. Mostly teenage hoodlums who will sucker punch an innocent victim with out warning. Several people have died and many others badly hurt. You will hear very little about this in the news because no one wants to be accussed of racial profiling. (spinless american media).
But wait till one of the little shits runs into the wrong person and they get their head blown off. The media will be all over that story!!!!!

I am not sure about the surroundings and happenings at the house and don't want to speculate, just be warned that there have been several case when guys rent a house, get hookers and do drugs.
This combination is bad, since this attracts bad people who will tell even worse people all about the house and the things inside. Then robberies happen.
Just a warning.
