Someone that rides for Red Bull may win - you just never know! lol

Half of NZ should be there - used to riding in that kind of wind - none of them could afford the excess luggage let alone the flight tho!

Though Mr. Bas and Peter are looking pretty hot too. Also, camera skills have got to evolve! BORING cinematography!!!
Would you happen to be Toby's alter ego?

Is he head and shoulders above the rest as an all rounder kiter?

No doubt at all the Toby is the king of 18m kite airstyle. That is undisputed. But it is a very specific box he has placed himself in.

Outside of that box Toby doesn't venture at all. So he is by his own admission not even able to compete. That makes all other competitors in this comp head and shoulders above Toby as far as king of air is concerned.

They are able to pick up a 7,8,9m kites and throw down and compete. He is not.

Could Toby pick up a 9m and be competitive on it? I actually think the answer is no. It would take him many hours to re-hone his skills after only riding super slow 18m kites for years. Then it would take many more hours to be able to perfect the timing to be competitive at a pro level like this. He also admits he's a flat water specialist not a wave lip smashing specialist. That's another skill set that requires different timing to flat water boosting.

Interesting what people think they know about me and what I can do or not ;-)

Flat water only...LOL...I love hitting ramps....as you can also see in my submission videos.

I cannot compete? I still fly 18 while others are on 9 knowing they jump higher...I stand up as a man and still try to win (never mind my age!).

Telling me I don't have guts...LOL...those guys come and go compete in an 18 in gusts up to 34 knots against 18 year olds.

Don't call me out, I deliver. Your call. Or shut up.

^^^ This is embarrassing. Even your KF cock polishing squad are calling your bullshit on this one. Leave kota to the real kiteboarders!

Pulling the bar on one side is pretty easy.
No handle pass.

Toby, I simply don't believe that you can hold down an 18m kite when it is blowing 34 knots.

I'd love to see you go to the KOTA but I don't know what kite you'd fly...

I think you HAVE to have a kiteloop in the bag to be able to compete at the KOTA

Sorry guys, you got nothing on Toby. All you can talk about is size and loops!!! I find that pathetic and extremely limited! Toby has skills with the board most of you can't dream of. SKILL!!!! Not how high, how hard or how big... You got the whole sport wrong.

in the english vernacular having GUTS is best displayed by going outside of your comfort zone and attempting something new without guarantee of success.

by this definition you have none
