Yes one is a really cool kite, flys well, relaunches great, powerful loops, has reasonable drift in waves, is great unhooked, in the large sizes has plenty of low end and the other is a North, why would you?

Isn't the Dice a wakestyle looping kite and the GTS3 a surfing looping kite?

@ PinkNorthPride, I don't get it, you ride North but aren't happy with them? Which model(s) u ride? I had the GTS3 13m and thought the low end was 'meh'. Great, precise steering for a larger kite and fast relative to others I've tried, but jumping was not that great. Loops smoothly and with a lot of power. I think it's better in the smaller sizes, I'd say 12m and below. I'm also looking at the 2016 North Dice as possibility. Others ridden it? Worth paying the extra few hundred over the 2015?

rolli look up action sports (western Australia) on the net, get in touch with the owner (darren). He sells both and has described the differences to me personally with really balanced detail. He's a veteran of the sport and will give you a far better picture than some of the retarded slop you read on here.
He's a big GTS fan by the way, but not because he doesn't enjoy nor not understand the differences (some better some worse) of the two wings.

He doesn't post on this site and doesn't really post all that much on the local one...as like most of the 'old timers' (he's is a very accomplished rider in his own right) he got tired of the poor information and general banter a long time ago...but I did find this...
Hi James, I can't speak of the Cab, but I have flown both the Core GTS3 and the North Dice. I love both of these kites.
The GTS3 is possibly a little more responsive and quicker to turn than the Dice but the Dice is a little smoother in the loops being slightly more "C" in shape.
The 2016 Dice is more powerful than the equivalent sized GTS3 so North gets the tick for better bottom end.
The GTS3 has always rewarded riders with a more aggressive flying style.
The Dice is now a little more Freestyle/Freeride focused whereas the GTS3 is also quite nice on the waves as well, (a truer all rounder). The older 2014 Dice was closer to an allrounder then in 2015 the Dice moved a little further away from waves and closer to Freestyle and now with a tad more grunt in 2016, the Dice is a great weapon for all but waves. It will still do waves but it is better as a fun advanced freerider and freestyler.
Fantastic kites! DM
Conversations I have had with him center around what he says above, with some more finer detail, but you get the picture far more clearly than biased drivel.

Then there's the discussion which will end up as more useful for drying dishes first...
Lets face it North aint what they were and their build quality sucks. Core say what you like about them, put together a nice kite in good material so if it's this or that on the flying quality which tends to be close with most stuff these days, then the question has to be which will still have some residual in a couple of seasons time..
