Naish octopus female repair

Hello all,

How hard is it to stick the female valve back on the bladder?
Because it is at the bottom with no flat surface.
Did anyone successfully did this?
I don't want to order 6 valves and it doesn't work or is hard to do.

thanks!

I have never had one of those come off. I have repaired a bladder and reset them, but I do not think it should be any harder than a regular valve which I have done on another kite. One point of consideration though is that if your bladder is old, it might be better to get a new bladder.

It is not the easiest to put on, but I have done several with no problems. There is a semi-flat area where the old valve was installed, it is best if you have help to install the female valves. One person to hold the bladder while the other puts the valve on, but I have don it by myself several times. I usually get the female valve nice and warm, then stick my finger into it from the bottom, making sure the tabs are oriented correctly to match up with the male valve. With the hole in the bladder as flat as possible, slowly insert the valve into the bladder and smooth the patch out from the center, out. Blow some warm air on it from a hair dryer and then kinds pull/tug on the female valve patch to ensure good adhesion.

Cool, thanks!
It is probably a good idea to get some help.
There is very little space especially with a 8m.
