North's Tensioned 5th going away?

Im hearing this...is it true? No more tensioned 5th Line Rebel?

Yes! The Rebel '18 is now a SLE bridled kite and no longer uses a loaded (tensioned) 5th line. However it's still 5 line compatible.

Yeah but it's not a tensioned 5th when you run them as a 5th. It's just the safety "depower" line

Way to go....f*ck with the best selling kite in the North lineup....wtf....reminds me of when Best killed the Waroo...or when the RPM went to bungees....must be some marketing Dickhead behind this one too....

i wonder what the die hard rebel fans are thinking about this?

Going from a kite with no bridles and tensioned 5th to a kite with possibly the longest ever made!

i have a 2012 fuse and i think its great but i find the bridles somewhat annoying, partly due to this i was thinking to switch to a rebel but now its the same as what i have..
