Well done to Kevin Langeree really enjoyed watching it looked like he got his kite and lines spot on seemed the most comfortable out there in the final!

That was awesome. Not only did Lngeree win, but he did it on the PIVOT!!!!!
Yeah this shut all the critics up on the kite not being extreme enough.

I know I was looking to go from my Park HD’s to the Dash but might have to have another look at the new Pivot’s I know Kevin Langeree is in a league of his own but as you said the Pivot was extreme in his hands!

Kevin definitely looked the most dialed in out of everyone there. You could tell he was just comfortable and knew it like his home turf. I have to give major credit to Liam Whaley, who not only was a last minute replacement, but really got outside his normal style of riding and almost won it! And unless I missed it, nobody got injured, so I'd count that as a win, too!

Yeah you'll have a nice time deciding. I do think the dash might be the choice if the wind had been stable..not that I know, but I really really like the Pivot..when over powered in unstable winds it still is controllable and nicely behaved!!
I got to say I am stoked to see so many choosing hybrid kites...looking that stylish!

So why did he go for the Pivot and not the Torch?
If Pivot works that well, why have the Torch ?
Maybe the Pivot loops smoother with less vertical pull ?

Torch is more extreme for sure, and it certainly has a big following. If this had been a regular freestyle competition with unhooked riding the torch is a preferred kite by a lot of people.
What I am taking from this competition is that the extra control the Pivot affords actually is a good thing especially for a competition like that (given overpowered and gusty conditions)
When you look at the Pivot ridden by a rider as good as Langeree, it certainly looks impressive in its flying capabilities.

Kevin stated in his vlog that he jumps higher on the Pivot. And compares the Torch to a sports car, it's more suited to one particular style. He said he liked the predictability
of the Pivot.
