Works with Wear OS (android wear). Woo just published a pairing guide. Id get the one with the highest waterproof rating.

Jep, I also ask the question after watching that Woo guide movie but that does not answer my question...

Any new Android Wear watch will be able to download the Woo app. Personally, I would wait for the next generation of Android Wear as new and better processors are coming online in the next generation. I have a huawei watch 2 and that runs the woo app. Don't use it for kitesurfing though.

The new processor has been released and its not substantially faster. The improvements in the chip seem to be more related to being able to run a lower power functionality mode - for showing only the time. Doesn't look like a big change to me.

For cheap watches, the Huawei Watch 2 and ticwatch 2 ranges regularly come up with discounts. I have the watch 2 and it leaked on me once after wearing it without a wetsuit. This is the problem with not getting a high level of water resistance.
For waterproofness, look towards something like the Casio WDS f20/F30 - but then its not cheap.

Alright sounds good, and what about the fact that i use a Iphone7? do you always need to pair the watch/woo using your phone?
