Just as a foot note: The German kiter who was an experienced rider suffered concussion and fluid on the Lungs and happily recovered after a brief but expensive stay in Hospital. Many thanks to all involved with the rescue and recovery of the Kiter it could of been much worse. He knew the risks as we all do and excepted them thankfully he lives to ride another day.
Hermanus has developed over the years as a true kiteboarding destination. With crowds visiting on #westisbest where the conditions can be excellent. The rest of the time locals ride the South Easterly trades.
If you are looking to Visit Hermanus please contact us
