Hi,
I wasn’t happy either with production board, always too big, too heavy, too much volume. Then I rode an Appletree surfboard and it was love at first sight. 2 years now that I ride appleflap full carbon and klokhouse, very well balanced, reactive, user friendly. I will never go back to production board, no reason for it.

does anyone know what the material on firewire heliums is used to sandwich the xps?
would like to do a custom as light as these... they are the lightest boards i ever , custom or production, held that seem to stand up to kiting
it doesnt seem to be pvc foam , it is from the aircraft industry.. it is white

I have been using kite surfboards from these shapers for many years:
http://www.fcdsurfboards.com/kite/
http://noeboards.com/
Never going back to production junk from China or Thailand.

You can make your own too. It's not rocket science. It's a craft, accessible to many with a little study and patience.
Check out backyard surfboard shapers on fb. Or swaylocks online if you wanna geek out.
