Welcome to the first, end of year round-up from Duotone Kiteboarding. What an exciting few months it’s been since the launch of our fresh new brand and we would like to thank you all for your trust in us. A new year brings time to reflect upon the past, the foundations we’ve built, boundaries we’ve broken, challenges we’ve overcome and celebrate them all. It’s been a year of many firsts and we’re ready for more! Who’s coming with us?!

RAISING QUALITY FROM THE PAST
This year has provided a fresh start to raise the quality and innovation upon our foundations, already at the top of the industry. As Duotone, we revisited our manufacturing facility and tweaked our products to make 2019, the most groundbreaking year for quality and performance.
GLORY FOR MIKAILI SOL AND TEAMMATES
We reflect on the glory of the Duotone women's team who finished in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place on both the WKC Freestyle World Tour and the GKA Air Games, with a huge congratulations to our girl, Mikaili Sol, who became a 2x World Champion at 14 years old in both the Air Games and the WKC. AIRTON CROWNED WORLD CHAMPION OF 2018 GKA KITE-SURF WORLD TOUR
Airton claims his World Champion crown and Matchu Lopes 3rd, following the last GKA Kite-Surf World Tour event in Torquay, Australia. Point Danger is wrapped in surfing history and made its debut on the 2018 tour schedule. Local talents joined the heavyweight line-up where Sebastian Ribeiro took 2nd place and Matchu 3rd. We know these guys will be back with a bang when the tour kicks off in Cape Verde in February 2019.

THE FIRST DUOTONE GROM SEARCH
Craig Cunningham takes #TRUEKITEBOARDING to heart and leads the first Duotone Grom Search with the support of world leading riders and International teammates. Cauipe, Brazil has delivered some of the industry's best talent over the years and was the perfect spot for the event. More than a search for the next World Champion, it was the start of an exciting cycle that aims to develop the sport in general and grow the local scene.
