In this video wind nuking 55/60 knots, he is on 6m with 22m lines, you can clearly see that he is about to reaching maximum maximum lines 22m vertical height.

Dudes it all seems pretty legit. Maarten is absolutely a top top talent. His last record was 28.9 i believe.
He's 17y.o now so the post of Eckhart is very old (2 years is a lot)
Anyway conditions were 40kts+ and big waves all top riders were there.
Spot is misty cliff / witsand in cape town (s.a)
8m xr5 on 22m lines what he told me.
If anyone can do it this is your guy
so i would definitely not be surprised if it all turns out legit

No the second post from IHNO etz. was fake, he never jumps higher than 15m while Maarten jumps 20m+ all the time with a previous record of 27.7m, you better believe this/him..

Hey, its misty clifs, this year previous world record comes from that palce (29.something m). It is an areay with high clifs around, maybe the wind direction was right and there was an extra lift coming from ascending wind? Who knows! But it is sure that those guys already jump 25+ in not so optimal conditions!

So good to see the young guys are back into jumping!
The future will have lots of more tricks to be discovered...they will be show!
One day I will train a kid to fullfill all those tricks in my mind which I cannot do...be ready for THE show!

If Maarten as you said is such talent and jumping always high, more than 20+ m, than why he (or his firends) not recording regulary his jumps and sessions with Goproo cameras, even if he riding in such places where is big chances to do height records. strange. Woo is not proof, video is best proof.
