Making the home text visual nice - your help and opinion needed

Why would you use the home?

Because it is easy to type in and (used to) give me a great overview of what i want to dive into.

Now that that's gone I will sadly need to figure out a good way to access all the content. And that includes even smaller forums rhat don't get the rogue attention of the masses.

It is all written down. I have given you a good amount of arguments that you haven't even bothered to reply to.

My only guess is we will be seeing more or less paid for content/"announcements"/"sponsored information" in this trending list view in the future. I hope not, but I really don't see why else this change is pushed through.

My last post on this, as it is utterly fruitless, is this picture of the "old" version of the homepage to prove that nothing "is like before":
Before:
One third header.
One third with the overview of the forums, highlighting diversity and transparency.
One third trending (which I still think is a great idea, just not the ONLY idea).

Now:
One third header.
Rest: Trending

Sad to see it all revolve around the same things.

That I will change everything the way you want it, you can't really assume that?
