Looks interesting but I already have a foil...
I see a great potential in offering wings for other brands fuselages, that I would buy!

Interesting. At first I thought this was a bit a an inbetweener option that doesn't make as much sense as a full diy kit, but looking at their site, they have the full range. From all wood, to complete finished foil on offer. Larger wing too.
Wonder what the quality fit and finish is like on the aluminum components.
Their full wood kit is a crazy low price. This offering is also a pretty well priced option. Done really nicely I bet it would be a nice looking foil. Black metal and wood. The more I think about it, the more I like it.

yeah, I like the modular approach here. Build a wing from their template, then mess with it all you want to get it right, or build others from your own template. It's a foiling tinkerer's dream! The most complex part is done for you and all the customization and nitpickiness is DIY.

Pretty smart approach. I wonder if the mast is the same bolt pattern as the slingshot. Anyone know?
That way I could get longer mast locally, avoid shipping cost, and just get a fuselage and build my own wings for the fuselage.

Wonder how he was able to persuade the Chinese to let him have the masts.....
They seem hell bent on protecting the big players and not selling below 1,000 units in a single purchase...

Has anyone picked up one of these recently and can confirm mast compatibility? It looks like it uses two M8 screws from the video, but couldn't really tell. Hoping my cab masts work with it.

Masts are not compatible. Hole spacing on the Clearwater fuselage is M8 at 45mm, Older Cabrinha mast measures 55cm on spacing, and it sounds like the measurement from leading to tailing edge differs as well. It was not recommended to me to slot it out the way Triton has on their M1. Think I'm going to try a partial Fluke build and make an aluminum fuselage to fit my current CW rear and front wings for a setup to try one of my board builds on (I still don't trust my stuff yet).

It looks like it is the same baseplate, mast, and fuse of my 6 years old foil from Alibaba. It has been my session saver since 2017 and it is still in good shape. It is definitely on the heavy side, but can't argue about quality/durability
