Hi everyone! Geez, I really should have been paying more attention to the forum. Apologies!

So, I´m the guy who´s designing a "universal" micro loop system. No bar drilling! We´re right in the final testing and tweeking stages. Yaaaay!

I´ve been using it for a couple of years now on my Cabrinha bars, but I still need to test other brands before being sure it´s ready for the crowdfunding campaign, so let me know what brand bars you guys want tested the most.

Cheers!

I guess it would be good to know for all the major brands if the universal system is compatible. Maybe start with the big ones like North, Cabrinha (which you already have), F-one, Naish, Slingshot etc.?
Looking forward to it, post some pictures when you have it ready!

That's slow my friend :) You need to be way way more agile if you even think going to the funding campaign. It's a niche market, and I do not think you need to fund it since max sales will be like, duno, a dozen?

Personally, I'm using the FS bar. For me, to make a hook is easy, it would be just a carbon attachment, no drilling or anything since can be secured with a depower rope on a chicken loop.

But, do not have time and earnestly, not that skilled in airstyle :)

I know of at least 30 to 40 kiters who would purchase something like this here in Florida alone and tons more in the Carolinas. If there is one thing that kites like is novelty, especially when I comes to gear that can help with technique. The biggest hurdle I see is when people think they can immediately start doing airstyle tricks like Toby just because of ML and hook. I modified one of my bars and got it out in about 20 to 25 and yes, I was able to hook in full power and float but it takes a ton of practice to get used to and execute advanced tricks with a loop and hook.

There will be quiet many people wanting this.
Think about the big air tour...all these guys training for it will level up their tricks using it

What does a micro loop do and how does it work please? Does it just allow you to hook the bar down onto your harness hook temporarily for big air mioves?

It allows you to lock the bar on full power...

Watch my videos and see where I let go of the bar

Is like a stopper that you just pull down quickly or does it clip somewhere?
