Recommended small board for traveling

Postby Gobigorfoil » Tue Nov 08, 2016 12:41 am

Hey,

My dream right now is to be able to take my Foiling setup strapped on a backpack on bicycle..
At the moment I'm struggling with the board (currently have the LF fun foil, upgrading to Zeeko)..

I looked around for candidate boards around the 110cm range and what I found is the mini pocket by zeeko and the slingshot 42'' board..

Another req. is being able to add straps to the board, since I want also jumping ability :)

Any suggestions? Tips on packing and traveling with a setup?

Cheers
Regev

Try the Shinn El Stubbo 135 x 50. http://www.shinnworld.com/elstubbo. A mate has one and loves it with the foil.

Ketos Pocket board is perfect. strong and light and has inserts for 3 straps on the 118, not sure on the 107 i think no inserts but they could probably add them.
Uses KF box which is Ketos, F One and Takoon masts also Alpine Foil with adaptor.

LF has a smaller board option in the form of the 4'5" Happy Foil board. Bigger than you indicated, but it has a track mount system (so it should work with LF & Zeeko), 3 straps, and with fins, it can be ridden if the conditions (too shallow, vegetation, etc) don't permit foiling. It should fit in most golf type bags.

kakoo does 1,08 x 44 pocket board with inserts for straps on demand, he adapts the mast position to alpine, ketos and zeeko
That's the board I use for travel.
