Anyone to comment on 683s vs 590 please?
It’s be nice to use one fuselage only and two different front wings

Those wings sit on different fuses, not interchangeable.
633 and 683 same thicker fuse.
590 on standard thinner fuse

Exactly! And having a 590 with 647 fuselage and 633 on 749 fuselage, hauling around one-too-many extra fuselage and stabilizer makes me think that I might want to ditch whole 590 setup (I don’t race so no 637 wing in my quiver) and use 749 fuselage with 633 and 683s instead.

The question is - is 683s a good replacement for 590 or I’ll be missing out on speed a lot?
( I don’t boost with a foil, so that’s not a factor)

I see.
from my experience the 637 race set up on the thinner fuse is a must try before you dump your thin fuse,
its the best wing set I have tried for sheer speed with stability, it has great lift, and the bonus is it can be used on the same mast setting as the 633, so no need to get the spanners out.
it really is a gem, much easier to use than the other traditional Moses wings, which is quite mad!
smooth linear lift and flight at silly speed, with upwind angles that make you grin like an idiot.

Hej Foil,

I might have to get a new mast this coming season. I'm riding 2016 fluente 93cm mast with 633. Came from 550-590. Don't use them.

My thought was to get Vorace 101 with 637 wings and then bolt the 633 to the Vorace mast.
Do you think it's better to go up to 101 than down to 91 fluente? Consider I'll use 633 80% and 637 20%.
Alternative is to get the fluente 91 mast.

I don’t kite in shallow water, but our spots often require dragging out in side onshore through wind waves further out to get beyond sandbars. I'm confidently doing flying transitions and footswitchs on 633/fluente 93.

So question is: get Vorace with 637 wings or just get a new fluente mast....

2 of us on our beach now use 101 masts with the 633 100% of the time,(and for me the 637 race wings when conditions are good for speed)
I had the 90cm fluente mast and when I started using the 101 I never went back to the 90cm or the 71cm which I also owned, the 71cm I sold straight away and the 90cm a few months later after just using it one last time to see if it offered anything better for me.
My buddy still has his 93 cm curved moses 2016 mast as a spare, but never uses it and loves the 101 mast on the 633 like I do, I have bought a spare 101 mast which is bit of a waste really as I cant see why or how I would ever need to use it, mind you I have 2 Moses 128 ltd boards, and just bought the new naked Groove carbon skate.
I can feel the need to sell some gear.

More edging. Flying high :)
For deep water my 105cm is the only choice. I used 71cm for shallows and was missing edging. Sold 71cm and waiting for 81cm to become available.

I just got my new DC 3’6 and when trying to assemble my 2017 Fluente mast on it, the bolts that came with the board are too short, they don’t reach through the mast base holes, through the rack, and on to the T-nuts.
Has anyone had the same issue? How large are the bolts you are using, any advice?

Thank you

Bolts which come with the board are countersink and aren’t good for Moses mast. Get stainless M8x30 buttonhead or panhead bolts (Phillips/Allen)
