What’s your technique and how much do you sand? What sandpaper grade do you use? How much is too much?

keep a bottle of windex and clean rag with your gear....wipe all wetted surfaces down pre session....makes a big difference when you get all the sun screen, finger goo, fried chicken grease, and drool off. Seems like it wouldn't make a difference but it does!
Oh, and at Home Depot in Canada they have very nice firm sponge blocks of wet sand in 1500 and 2000 grits. They last forever and easier to keep handy and use than standard paper for those occasional touch ups.
Gary when you ding that 637...and you likely will at some point, ping me and I'll give you my repair sequence.
