I was in Cuba in November to test my new toys and the Groove skate XL 2019 was incredible!! Loved it! Very nice board, light weight, super V straps design (even if i ride 90% strapless) and the pad is the most comfortable i have tried yet. Mine is fluo red and it was super easy to spot when you crash. The nose scoop is just perfect, nothing bad to say about this board to be honest.

Are the black rails painted? Or is it a carbon rail..
The black rails on the coloured boards are painted.

However the carbon 2019 Naked edition with the two centre red lines is naked carbon.
Seen it on Flag beach 5 weeks ago, just delivered to Gunnar along with a few others for his customers who were there to pick them up.

They are just too nice just to look at,
so I ordered one.
Should be with me very soon.

Had amazing session today first ride on the skate impossible to get the nose under on purpose...nose rocker is primo...super light perfect size... got the 120 foot straps are amazing and comfy...hands down best board ever ridden I recommend to someone that only wants the best...can’t wait to get my 633 setup...definitely gonna need a 101 mast breaching a lot on my 89 mast in this lake swell/chop

Those are about as sweet as a foil board can be. If I ever go carbon, I will get a sweet ass wood deck made up. Something about the aesthetic of black carbon and wood grain that pleases the eye, but if your going full carbon tip to tail, that is pretty sweet.
