Do the long lines provide more pull for waterstart with power sweep than normal lines (20m) with kite/down loop?

Exactly, a lot more pull, that is why it is a session saver so many days 🤘

Thanks!
So that would be because in power sweep the kite moves faster than in a kiteloop? or just a longer pull?
meaning, is the peak power different?

also, my smallest is 5.5m cloud, I don't like the fact that in stronger winds it can pull violently when flown across the window, can I mitigate that with shorter lines? say 16m

With longer lines, the kite flies in a bigger arc so it spends more time in the power zone.

You may actually find longer lines make controlling a small fast kite easier.
