I just wanted to bounce on NorCalNomad post and create this one for all of you that have thought about designing their own kiteboard hydrofoil but where relunctant due to price / difficulty ...

This post to follow our progress, to store our screenshots as FreeCad users.

A friend of mine, Autocad and SolidWorks proficient, likes FreeCad a lot.

it's open source, well structured, Python friendly, compatible with plenty of formats to send to the machine shop, offering a CAM extension for the most CNC enclined amongs us + huge community + plenty of tutorial and it's ... free.
