Like minds think alike.
G10 fiberglass 1/4"X5"X21"
Better than many stock fins.
Only thing I would add is anhedral.

hey hawaiis,
good to see you aroud here!
your wing is full carbón?
Mine ended up beind 12.5 cm x 52cm x 12 mm thick.
it is curing with the last hot coat as we speak!
didi the fins you use as winglets work for you? did you gain stability?

It is fiberglass, exactly the same size as yours, only half the thickness at 6mm.
I will put two layers of carbon on it.
Is yours bamboo covered with carbon.
Your carbon look stunning, how did you do it?
The fins work wonders. But the best way is to avoid 90 degree sharp corners. With a smooth anhedral.

thanks!!I did vaccum bagging with a 10cfm vaccum pump.
plain weave on top two layers of 6 0Z carbón and 1 layer of 45+- on bottom 18 oz.
and lots of fiberglas layers in between. very rigid and a Little heavy.
the wing has a 7mm bamboo core wing profile.
on my next wing i will attempt the anhedral but i have to finish the back wing first.
i must try the winglets, just saw the new race wing from alpine it has winglets and looks awesome.

Hello Tone,
the versión 1 is posted on the first diywooden wings thread started by Hawaiis.
the versión 2 i havent had time to post pictures but soon i will.it has berings and they are centered with the router shaft allowing copy of the exact profile.
the versión 1, the leveling points were off axis and profile was an aproximation.
the explanation is on the thread too on how to do it!
Best regards,
Pedro
