Isn’t that the nature of the game? Windsurfing waveriding competition for example at Hookipa favours the regular footers. In surfing certain waves favour regular or goofy footers.

OK but in kiteboarding it's possible to find a location where both natural and goofy footers have equal chance

Imagine a venue with flat water and wind blowing totally offshore 90 degrees from shore at 30- 40 knots

So now you'd have the spectators lined up on the beach with riders coming real close to them and boosting super high on their favorite tacks for kiteloops / board offs etc

Crowds would get an even bigger rush at their heights

Sure but at the end of the day you gotta work to be good all round. To be honest, these are professional kiteboarders...this is what they do.

Northeast Brazil has wind from the right. Waves can be up to 2 m. Between Ilha do Guajiru and Jeri you will have 30+ wind.
But the wind is not as powerful as Capetown...the wind there is very dense.

But it’s rare to find spots with so much wind.

Another one would be Cabo de la Vela in Colombia...but don’t know about waves. Most riding is in flat water there.

I don't think the regular/goofy side of things is an issue for any of these guys. I've never heard any of them ever mention it as something they are concerned about.

For these guys, they can boost HUGE in both directions and have overcome any bias to one side or the other. To us mere mortals, yes, it makes a big difference but to those guys, strong wind and big waves are the most important factor, whether the wind is from the left or right is not a big issue.
