Hi
I am tossing up between the 3m and 4.9m Blade II for use with my board. I am a little concerned that the 4.9m will be a little bit too powerful and I may do myself some damage with it!
Does anybody have any experience with both, would the 3m limit anything that I might be able to do on the board. I weigh around 75Kg and the wind varies from 5Knts upward around where I ride.
Thanks

get the 4.9 at least. i have a b-3 and i never use the thing for earthboarding (it's too weak and when the wind is strong enough, it's too fast to enjoy the ride. also the jumps are low and quick). i mostly use my flysurfer mastair 12 and then if it gets too much wind for that, i switch to a shadow 7. in the beginning you'll be a little cautious about the power of the kite but once you're used to it, then you'll want to have at least that 4.9 if not bigger. i weigh 170 lbs and my friends that use it also weigh 190 lbs.

I'd recommed something in between the two, i have a 3.6 hq traction quad and i've gone 35mph in a buggy before, and done some good 8- 12 ft jumps with it . A friend of mine has the 4.9 blade and its usually too windy to use. I suppose it mainly depends on the average wind speed in ur area

In 5 knots the 4.9 probably won't be big enough.

At 190 lbs, what windspeed would you fly the 4.9? 15-20mph?
