Just found that link online, good write up on the event and snowkiting in general.

Big thanks to Jan, Kelly, Zeb, Bob and all the other volunteers and land owners that put in the effort to make this freeride gathering possible. Bummed I wasn't there myself, conditions sounded deep and strong.

This event was great. What these people are doing for the sport is just plain awesome. Talk of designated kite spots marked with signs, waivers on site. Killer snow!!! What more would we want. This is the UT of the east coast. A snow hatteras.
I will be putting this fly in on my must do for every year.

There was only one thing that could have made this the perfect experence.
A non specific "Snowkiting" hat.
Jan must not like us boarders.

Great People, Great Event!!!

My first post, but lemme say you guys rocked the weekend! I attended both sat & sun., flying my yellow 3.5m Imp trainer. I attempted to get up on my snowboard with it on sunday, but with not so much boarding experience, all I managed was lots of faceplants, but it was pow, so I laughed a lot! I just saw the sport last year up here, and being local am happy to live near this natural playground! Planning to get an 8m Access soon, and practice with Jan and whomever can make it up to play! :bye:
