But unfortanely here in Guadalajara (mexico) its imposible to get this products,,, im gone to have to start a search on which materials that I have here could work as a vacuum bag and star to buil my Home made vacuum bag system,,,

any way I started to build my own board and I think I know how I could get the rocker for my board.
but the only think that Idont know how to do is HOW THE HELL (hahaha) DO I GET THE CONCAVE!??? hahaha

My board is almost done just need to spray clear coat on it.
waiting for pads and fins ..slow mail

As for the concave in your board , I used my rocker table to do both at once.
if you look back at my pictures of the vacuum process you can see my rocker table with the bolts every 6 inches for adjustment.

the ones at center i used for concave. there is a shaped wedge under the table cross wise that gave me my concave.

As for the vacuum process from west system, does not matter what epoxy you use the theroy is the same. The bagging materials you can use heavy plastic used for construction. for peel ply use polyester fabric from fabric supply. (make sure pure polyester) breather fabric use cushion stuffing comes in various thickness's

By the way were you at Ikarus camp in January by any chance ?

HI..
First of all - GREAT job on the board. Definately gave me a lot of inspiration to start building my own board soon.

I have some questions i hope you answer for me:

How much of the bend dissapears after you take it of the bench?
-Should i give it some extra bend, to compensate for the loss when i remove it?

What did you use to for thread (on the bottom side to "grab" the screw) when you screw on the pads? I have read something about you can get some for a snowboard, that "catches" the screw.?
And what did you do to prevent waterdamage in the areas where you drilled holes?

What kind of paint did you use?
Did you treat the wood with something, before/after painting it?

I hope you can help me out with my questions and sorry for my bad english.

I like your style and workmanship but I would sugest that the weight of this board might be to much think about building a board with a thin wood cover top and bottom with a foam center it would look the same but weight much less I do this with small carbon tubes in the center for stifness the ideal will be a fairly stiff center with flexable tip and tail
