To EDT: Of course you can, you just make the single front line safety line one continuous piece of Q power through the swivel, to a knot, then continue down through the bar and QR to your leash. A single knot in the line is going to pass through all the lower components just fine. You can't really bungee it, but you can run a slightly heavier ring at the leash attachment that will take up slack.

Probably more a direction for Switch. They have parts on their site, they just need to stock a few more options. Their bar is a reasonable price,,,, I just don't really like it.

Starsky I used to have that kind of system but had a failure when that knot on the q-powerline caught on something. Had to climb back up the leash while getting tea bagged, fiddle around with the bar until the knot slipped off whatever it was caught on. What you can do is use q-powerline on every single component except for 10 meters of the safety system that works, but I like having matched lines so they stretch uniformly over time.

I bought the Switch bar. It seems good enough quality.

It comes adjustable to 45 or 55cm with 20m +3m lines.

The main problem I see is that it flags to both front lines, but the distance it flags is quite short.

The hole through the below the bar swivel is 6mm so you can modify it to flag to one front line if you know what you are doing and bought some extra bits..

It would be easy to extend the flagging to both front lines to a longer length.

I've still got Q-power lines in very usable state after 10 god-dang years of use and abuse...
I dont like mini 5th line bars, all my bars are single center line flag u cant use q-powerline on them at least not near the safety system.
Hey edt, are you saying that you cannot splice q-powerline? If so that kind sucks, I was planning on using it for my project bar.
I was going to splice a loop on the q-powerline and on the 1/8" am steel and use a double larks head with a 4mm sliding stopper ball and ring.

u can't splice it it's straight core so you can only knot it or sew a sleeve won't work on single line flagging systems
