wow - no recoil!
I love the recoil... but I wonder if they found another way to keep the power/depower adjusters close to the rider...
Additionally, you can see they added bigger floaters... and I assume the new bar-length adjusters are still there... I also like them and use them quite a bit, since I ride my Switchblades 9, 12 and my Contra 17 with one bar, its just a matter of click click and within a second I adjusted the bar length...

Looks to me like still a recoil spring...why? Look how the power/depower straps are stretched and hug the main line. How else are they being pushed down? I think the spring is there, but it is black now and can't be seen well in this pic. In this zoom, you can see what might be the spring.
More interesting is what is down at the chicken loop - looks like a redesigned QR, the shape is different.
Looks pretty nice - I find the Cab bars are the most comfortable bars on my hands, looking forward to using one

Interesting. Kites can stay up but decent bar photo removed.
Its possible that's not the 2015 bar and a future development prototype bar...

I hope they tone down the graphics on the SB. Too flashy for my taste.

I apologize for any inconvenience that I may have caused. Just excited to see the new gear, and wanted to share.

Sure, no problem. Just sometimes the companies don't want pictures being released before their official release day.
They have their reasons which we should respect.

2/ I'm not sure what more we could improve on the lightwind kites. The Velocity 18 is the benchmark kite for lightwind. Nothing can touch the low end. The Contra has received only rave reviews for it's turning speed, easy relaunch, light bar, etc. Contra is a "fun" lightwind kite, while Velocity is the mac daddy of power. Plus Switchblade is by far the best overall wind range with great low end and the fastest turning edition we have ever made.
I think it is fair to say none of the other Cab kites can touch the low end of the Velocity 18m. There are kites out there that simply blow it away with low end usable power.
