The heavy fuselages sink
Heavy is BAD for so many reasons!

I ended up buying the Chinese Takuma instead and it's awesome.

Yea, thats what I am riding these days. I have a carbon fuselage with them too. This setup is lighter than my older aluminum with g10 wing setup so the weight is not an issue for me. These are not beginner wings though. As soon as you dive the kite, you are up on foil. I still recommend the Rocket Wings for beginners.

Now that looks great - I really like the LF gear. I’m also riding s china Takuma as well as a Zeeko green and white. If anything, the china Takuma is a bit too slow for normal foiling - something in between like this Impulse seems like a great compromise.

Agree, the impulse setup/wing looks great for a low wind or surf oriented kitefoil :thumb:

Not too big either, like the surf foils
These I personally dont believe in for kitefoiling, but some do, so apparently just personal likings, and maybe conditions changes this preference also.

Too big gets too bad quite soon IMO, so to make a reasonable "big" size instead of a huge one, seems like the way to go.

Interesting to see how it works

Impulse wings vs Spitfire XLW: Which would be better for surfing small to medium waves with a drifting kite?
