Good point!
I don't know why FS continued to manufacture the 19 after they came out with the 21M Speed 3. The 21 S3 is more stable, has better low-end and turns about as fast. They should have called the 21, a Speed 3.5. Yeah, I know the color-edition with the Infinity 2.0 bar, gets that designation.
So, the new 18m will actually have a real point of difference compared to the 21M. Instead of just being a sub-par, has-been as the 19 was to the 21 speed 3.
I am really curious to see how the Speed 4's will perform in the big sizes. I think the 3M difference between sizes makes a lot of sense and is a good move by FS. I did not think we would see the Speed 4 until 2014.
I have to hand it to FS for coming out with the Speed 4 in the smaller sizes (10 &
only after making some critical engineering changes to ensure that it would be more stable. We have been begging for smaller Speed sizes, but they were wise to wait until they could give us a kite that we will really enjoy.
